GREEN IS GOLD is pleased to announce the opening of the group exhibition Everything Is Connected at Neter Proyectos in Mexico City, Mexico. The show consists of works by Scandinavian and Scandinavian based artists and presents works in a variety of media including video, installation, sculpture, photography and prints.
The exhibition brings together two artist-run spaces, GREEN IS GOLD and Neter Proyectos, both of whom started in 2011 and exist in a similar manner but take great influence from the respective countries and cultures in which they are situated. Everything Is Connected is the second stage of an exchange project between the two. The first part of the exchange took place in GREEN IS GOLD in Copenhagen with a group show of Mexican artists representing Neter Proyectos. The exchange aims to showcase young Scandinavian based artists in Mexico and vice-versa for Mexican artists in Denmark.
The project was initiated and is coordinated by Danish curators Eva Nedergaard Pedersen and Signe Havsteen. Both have great knowledge and experience of the Latin and South American art scene and have both lived and worked there for extended periods of time in the past.
The participating artists are:
